Claire Pirrett, Senior Industrial Liaison Officer at the NT Working Women’s Centre will be presenting on the Domestic and Family Violence Work Aware Program.  This program has been developed to raise awareness and promote best practice responses to issues of domestic and family violence in the workplace.

The presentation will include:

• Why is domestic and family violence a workplace issue?
• What are employees who are experiencing domestic and family violence entitled to?
• What are employees of the NT Government who are experiencing domestic and family violence entitled to?
• Safety planning at work
• The ‘Gold Standard’ for employers.
